“Days on the Green” is a heartfelt reflection on young love, innocence, and the golden haze of childhood memories. With warm, nostalgic storytelling, the song captures moments that linger long after they’ve passed—sunlit afternoons, first emotions, and the simplicity of youth. Carrying the timeless spirit of 1970s soft rock, the track echoes the laid-back, melodic style of The Eagles, America, and Bread. Gentle harmonies, acoustic textures, and evocative lyrics come together to create a sound that feels both classic and enduring. “Days on the Green” invites listeners to pause, reminisce, and reconnect with the moments that shaped who they are. https://gyro.to/DaysontheGreen

Queen of Angels
Bohemian Rogue
“Queen of Angels” – Holds a deeply personal place in my songwriting journey. It was the first song I wrote after stepping away from writing for many years. The lyrics came to me while driving my mother’s car the day after she passed away in 2009—a moment of reflection, grief, and connection that shaped the heart of the song. Shortly after, I recorded a simple demo, which was played at her funeral the following week. Since 2015, “Queen of Angels” has remained a constant in our live performances. Its sound leans more toward a country style than my usual work, carrying a raw, heartfelt tone that continues to resonate with audiences. It’s the one song we perform that can bring an audience to tears Clive Carter
“Hot Hot Sweaty (Summer’s Night)” by Bohemian Rogue Australian band Bohemian Rogue are turning up the heat with the release of their scorching new single, “Hot Hot Sweaty (Summer’s Night).” Steeped in the unmistakable energy of a Queensland summer, the track offers a vivid and personal reflection of the long, humid days and even hotter nights that define life in the Sunshine State. Lyricist Clive Carter paints an evocative picture of midsummer intensity—sweltering heatwaves, sticky humidity, and the unrelenting search for a moment’s cool relief. His storytelling captures the raw, lived experience of riding out the season, one steaming day at a time. Multi-instrumentalist Gary Mears amplifies this atmosphere with a dynamic blend of guitar, mandolin, and banjo, weaving together a sound that feels equal parts sultry and electrifying. His arrangements carry a hot, steamy texture that mirrors the song’s theme, building a sonic landscape that radiates with Queensland’s iconic summer tension. “Hot Hot Sweaty (Summer’s Night)” is a blistering, rhythm-driven anthem that delivers both attitude and authenticity—an ode to the heat, the haze, and the unmistakable spirit of Australia’s tropical summer. Out now on all major streaming platforms.
Trouble in Paradise’ — a heartfelt tribute, dedicated to the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Mr. Elvis Presley. It’s a musical time machine that takes listeners back to the golden age of rock and rhythm. With verses that evoke vivid memories of Elvis and a chorus that feels like the soundtrack to a film he could have starred in, ‘Trouble in Paradise’ is more than just a song — it’s a celebration of legacy, style and timeless sound.
The new year brings in a new song for “BOHEMIAN ROGUE”, following on from their successful stream of radio releases over the last 18 months. “BOHEMIAN ROGUE” are proud to present their latest single “TIDE”. Band songwriter CLIVE CARTER is continuing to express the diversity of his songwriting talent. “TIDE” brings a softer sound with a strong beat, transporting the listener away to a peaceful and emotional place. Is it a love song? Yes… and proudly so… This song has also given BOHEMIAN ROGUE’s multi-instrumentalist GARY MEARS the opportunity to inject soulful salty sounds reflecting their trademark coastal themes. So imagine being beachside and drifting away with the tide.
“The Speakeasy” takes you back in time to1920’s America. It was a time of alcohol prohibition. In the heart of Washington DC was a speakeasy named the “Krazy Kat Klub.” It was a venue frequented by the Bohemians of that time. A place where artists and musicians would gather This song “The Speakeasy” is inspired by that place and that time in history. photo from https://www.shorpy.com/image/tid/235
